  2. Head back to Mido Lotto.

Once you have a personal bank account connected to Venmo:

  1. Pick your game and order your Lottery tickets on Mido Lotto.

  2. After you tap Checkout, enter the amount you would like to load, then choose Venmo as your load option.

  3. Enter the billing address that is associated with your bank account. This will be used by Venmo to confirm you are the owner of the account.

  4. Select your bank account (not a debit/credit card) when prompted to “Authorize Mido Lotto to charge Venmo”. Please note: The transaction will be declined if you select to pay with a debit/credit card.

  5. Congratulations! You have successfully connected Venmo to Mido Lotto. Return to the Mido Lotto app to complete your order.

If you’ve already selected to pay with your debit card:

  • You can update your payment method in Venmo by going to your Settings -> Connected Businesses -> Mido Lotto and adding your bank account as the payment method.

*Do not tap “discontinue payment” when updating your payment method for Mido Lotto. This will cause your transaction to decline, and there is currently no way to reconnect Venmo to Mido Lotto if you do this.

What’s Venmo?

Venmo allows you to pay and request money from your friends or be used to make purchases with authorized merchants and is trusted by over 83 million customers. Venmo is already accepted by more than 2 million merchants, including Uber and Hulu, and is an easy, secure way to order Lottery tickets on Mido Lotto.

What is a connected business in Venmo?

When you link Mido Lotto to your Venmo account, Venmo encrypts your bank information, including your transaction information, and only shares it with Mido Lotto when you load your Mido Wallet. Mido Lotto never receives your external bank log-in information, like your passcode and username.
