How do I play Mido Fantasy?

Mido Fantasy lets you test your sports knowledge by participating in multi-leg Fantasy contests. You'll predict the performance of top athletes in various sports, choosing whether they'll go Over/Under or within a specified margin statistical benchmarks.

  1. Choose a Contest:

    • Browse the available contests. You'll see the grand prize amount, the number of "legs" (player predictions) required (e.g., Pick'em 10, Pick 5), and the sports involved (indicated by sport icons).

    • Note the countdown timer, indicating how long you have to submit your entry before the contest starts.

  2. Make Your Picks:

    • For each leg of the contest, you'll be presented with a player, their team, their position, the game they're playing, and a statistical prediction (e.g., "Will Patrick Mahomes go over or under 282.5 passing yards?" or "Will Austin Reaves scores between 0-15 points?").

    • Simply select Over/Under (Pick'em 10) or a specified margin (Pick 5) based on your prediction. You can also select multiple if you are unsure.

  3. Confirm Your Entry:

    • Once you've made all your picks, confirm your entry.

  4. Track Your Progress:

    • In the Fantasy Sports section of your app, tap on the "My Entries" tab at top.

    • By clicking on an individual entry, you can see the details of its progress (winning and losing selections), as well as any Cash Out offers you may have.

What are "legs" in a contest?

"Legs" refer to the individual player performance predictions you make within a contest. For example, in a Pick'em 10 contest, you'll be making four separate predictions about different players, each one of those predictions is a "Leg".

What does "Over/Under" mean?

"Over/Under" refers to predicting whether a player's performance will exceed (Over) or fall below (Under) a specific statistical value. For example, "Over 282.5 passing yards" means you're predicting the player will throw for more than 282.5 yards.

Why are there .5 decimals in the statistical predictions (e.g., 282.5 yards)?

The use of .5 decimals ensures that each prediction has a clear, binary outcome (either Over or Under). This eliminates the possibility of a "push" or tie. For example, a player cannot throw for exactly 282.5 yards, so the result will always be either over or under.

How late can I submit my entry?

You can submit your entries up until the start of the first game in the contest. The countdown timer on each contest will show you how much time remains.

How do I check my entries and track my progress?

  • Go to the Fantasy Sports section of your app.

  • Tap on the "My Entries" tab.

  • Select the entry you wish to view. There you can see the results of each of your legs, and see if there are any Cash Out offers.
